Cheshire’s Natural Health Service

Cheshire’s Natural Health Service uses the west of the county’s green space assets to help tackle local health inequalities.

Postponement of our current activities:

We have decided to bring to a halt all our Natural Health Service activities due to the increasing concern around Covid-19. The outbreak is affecting people’s ability and willingness to attend.
We wish to encourage people to self distance rather than congregate, so if you want to get out and about, please do see details of woodlands and green spaces on your doorstep for you to explore:

As soon as this passes, we will be up and running again.

Other opportunities to get involved

The  initiative builds on the growing body of evidence that activities in the natural environment can have a significant impact on both keeping people healthy. The programme is made up of health-promoting, enjoyable group activities within some of Cheshire West & Chester’s wonderful green spaces.

Sessions are targeted at both adults and children and designed to be welcoming to complete beginners; please scroll down to see the activities.
